As part of the observance of Swachhta Pakhwada (16–31 December 2025), a Swachhta Pledge was administered on 16th December 2025 at the Directorate. The pledge-taking ceremony marked the formal commencement of the Swachhta Pakhwada campaign and reaffirmed the Directorate’s commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental responsibility.
Dr. T N Raviprasad, Director-in-charge, ICAR-Directorate of Cashew Research, Puttur emphasized the importance of this campaign. Following his address, all staff members of the Directorate collectively took the Swachhta Pledge, pledging to uphold the principles of cleanliness in their workplace as well as in their personal lives. The activity emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment, reducing waste, and promoting sustainable practices.
The pledge-taking event set a positive tone for the Swachhta Pakhwada activities scheduled from 16th to 31st December 2025, reinforcing collective responsibility and dedication towards the goals of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
