ICAR-DCR, Puttur celebrated the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025 at the Institute on 20th June, 2025. The theme for the IDY 2025 was Yoga for One Earth, One Health.

🎉 Foundation Day Celebrations at the ICAR- Directorate of Cashew Research-2025

The 40th Foundation Day was celebrated at the ICAR- Directorate of Cashew Research at Kemminje, Puttur on 18-06-2025. Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Chairman, Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB), New Delhi, participated as the Chief Guest. Dr. K. Balachandra Hebbar, Director, Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI), Kasaragod, participated as the Guest of Honor. Dr. S.K. Singh, Deputy Director General (Horticulture), and Dr. V.B. Patel, Assistant Director General (Fruits and Horticultural Crops) from New Delhi, also participated in the program online.

ಪುತ್ತೂರಿನ ಕೆಮ್ಮಿಂಜೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಗೇರು ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಲವತ್ತನೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪನಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ದಿನಾಂಕ 18-06-2025ರಂದು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಡಾ. ಸಂಜಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಕೃಷಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ( ಎ.ಎಸ್.ಆರ್.ಬಿ.), ನವದೆಹಲಿ ಇವರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಅಥಿತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಡಾ. ಕೆ. ಬಾಲಚಂದ್ರ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾರ್, ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು, ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಯ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕಾ ಬೆಳೆಗಳ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ (CPCRI), ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಅವರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಡಾ. ಎಸ್.ಕೆ. ಸಿಂಗ್ ಉಪ ಮಹಾನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು (ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ) ಹಾಗೂ ಡಾ. ವಿ.ಬಿ.ಪಾಟೇಲ್ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಮಹಾನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು (ಹಣ್ಣು ಮತ್ತು ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕಾ ಬೆಳೆಗಳು) ಕೂಡ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಆನ್ಲೈನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
