PRIORITY SETTING, MONITORING & EVALUATION CELL
The Research Priority setting, Monitoring, and Evaluation (PME) Cell of ICAR-DCR monitors and evaluates research progress, coordinating research and technical activities. In addition, PME cell also facilitates and monitors the research publications, research project files, technical correspondence, and compilation of technical reports.
PME responsibilities:
- Coordinate and synthesise recommendations of QRT, RAC, IRC and vision documents of institutes and ICAR to recommend research priorities for shortlisting of research problems.
- Annual updating and presenting the report to the Director for assigning research
- Maintaining a database on all publications, projects undertaken and ongoing
- Facilitating publications of research and other papers submitted by the
- Facilitating Research project proposals submitted by the
- Preparation of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ICAR-DCR and Other Institutes/ Universities/private agencies for collaborative research and extension.
- Report preparation and submissions as per SMD (Horticulture).
- Coordinating for allotment of students to different scientists for internship/exposure visits/project work.
