On the occasion of ‘Samvidhan Diwas’, a programme was organized on 26.11.2025 at ICAR-Directorate of Cashew Research, Puttur to join the Nation-wide celebrations. This day marks the milestone in the history as the Indian Constitution completed 75 years of adoption. To commemorate this historic event, the staff of ICAR-DCR actively participated in the Constitution Day celebrations which started with National song. All the staff took part in the pledge, ‘Reading of the Preamble to the Constitution’ at 11.00 am. An insightful talk on ‘Constitutional Values’ was delivered by Mr. Ashwin, G., Finance and Accounts Officer, ICAR-DCR covering the history of making of constitution and the fundamental rights. Dr. J.D. Adiga, the Director, ICAR-DCR addressed the gathering about the importance of the Indian Constitution. A constitution day film was also played during the occasion. The staff actively took part in the online reading of the preamble to the Constitution as well. The programme ended with National anthem.
